HOPE worldwide (HWW) was founded in 1991 by the International Churches of Christ (ICOC) as a faith-based charity. It has since become a non-governmental organization of international repute enjoying special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a registered private voluntary organization with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
HWW’s programs are designed to provide medical treatment, poverty relief and restore hope among those who are downcast as a result of disease, poverty or abandonment. The goal is to help the underprivileged regain their worth and realize their potential.
HWW was registered in Kenya, as HOPE
