MISSION HWWK is a faith-based organization working with underserved communities to improve their quality of life through responsive and innovative health programming, service delivery and capacity building in Kenya and Eastern Africa. BACKGROUND HOPE worldwide Kenya is a faith-based Non Governmental Organization registered in 1999. The official launch of Programs was in February 2003 by the then U.S. ambassador to Kenya, His Excellency Johnnie Carson, and Joe Aketch, His Worship the mayor of Nairobi City at the time, in Mukuru slums. The work of HWWK focuses on hard-to-reach and most-at-risk populations, orphaned and vulnerable children, youth, poor communities and the general public to improve their quality of life through responsive and innovative health programming, service delivery and capacity building in Kenya and Eastern Africa. HWWK partners with the National Coordinating Agency for Population and Development (NCAPD) in areas focusing on Gender, Reproductive Health which targets the youth, sex workers and orphans. Public Private Partnerships have also been established with Kenyan Government agencies, other non-governmental organizations, corporate firms, religious institutions, and local and international donor agencies. VALUES HWWK has established these core values as the cornerstones of its success.
